The Canberra Raiders are pursuing player contracts, offering extensions to Matty Nicholson and Matt Timoko, while also targeting Jaiyden Hunt from Brisbane.
The Canberra Raiders have tabled two offers to bolster their pack as uncertainty continues to surround Hudson Young's future, while another key player has been locked in for next year.
Matty Nicholson is contracted until the end of 2027 and will be free to speak to other clubs from November 1.
But the Raiders have offered him a two-year extension, with an option for a third year - which would keep him in Canberra until at least the end of 2030 if he took it up.
