The Raiders are opening talks with hooker Tom Starling in a move to keep him in the capital beyond his current deal.
Starling's contracted to Canberra until the end of next season and is free to talk to other clubs come November 1.
But the Green Machine has added him to the list of contract talks they're juggling.
