    The Canberra Raiders are negotiating contract extensions for Hudson Young and other young players, while re-signing Jed Stuart.

    They've already moved to lock in Hudson Young, now the Canberra Raiders have opened talks with a raft of young guns to build for the future.

    Talks with Young have progressed, with the Green Machine looking to re-sign their future captain for another two or three years.

    Young's one of a number of Raiders players off-contract at the end of next year, who will be free to talk to other clubs come November 1.

    To stop that from happening, the Raiders have opened talks with Ethan Sanders, Sebastian Kris, Xavier Savage and Joe Roddy.
