Canberra have produced the boilover the NRLW season by dominating the previously unbeaten Brisbane 28-4, before Wests Tigers snatched victory from St George Illawarra in the last minute of their nailbiter.
While Sunday's loss to Canberra came with a devastating record deficit for the Broncos, the Tigers took another step towards a maiden NRLW finals appearance.
It was cold and wet at GIO Stadium, but the Raiders brought the heat with the coup of the season, completely outplaying the visitors and scoring five tries to one.
It was Brisbane's first loss of the year and snapped their 15-game unbeaten streak.
