Ghost town no more: The plan to bring community sport back to Manuka Oval
Manuka Oval aims to revitalize community sports, with plans for grand finals, improvements, and addressing facility struggles in Canberra.

Manuka Oval's days as a ghost town could be numbered as community sports target a return to one of Canberra's premier sporting venues.
AFL Canberra officials have outlined a desire to shift grand finals back to Manuka Oval, as well as a push for more undercover seating and surface upgrades at Phillip Oval, as part of a strategic plan mapping out a vision for the next six years.
Cricket ACT has also unveiled an infrastructure plan after declaring facilities across Canberra are struggling to cater for booming participation levels.
