The Knock on Effect NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup competitions are set to kick off this weekend, with the two Raiders sides gearing up to take on the Warriors at Leichhardt Oval.

The Raiders NSW Cup squad will launch their 2025 campaign against the New Zealand Warriors on Saturday afternoon in what promises to be a gritty first round battle.

Coming off a solid season last year, the Raiders reached the preliminary final, falling just short by two points against the eventual premiers, the Newtown Jets.

The NRL is currently considering London as a potential host for the season opener once their current contract with Las Vegas expires in 2028.

The league had initially signed a five-year deal to host season opening games in Las Vegas.
