A loss here has the potential to see Canberra drop from top of the table down to third - that's if Melbourne beats Brisbane and Canterbury rack up a comfortable win over the Warriors - both scenarios a very strong chance of happening.
Manly too can ill-afford a loss here either as they are already 2 points behind the eighth placed Dolphins, but with a 165 points difference deficit to the team presumably from Redcliffe - Manly cannot be level with the Dolphins on competition points - they need to be ahead.

Ricky Stuart says the Canberra Raiders could keep both Josh Papali'i and Trey Mooney next season, but he doesn't want to be "greedy" and do the wrong thing by Mooney.
Mooney, along with young fullback Chevy Stewart, has been given permission to speak to other clubs, with the Raiders in the process of coming up with a one-year contract extension for Papali'i.
It means Mooney's opportunities could be limited at the Green Machine for a further 12 months, but now he's exploring his options - despite being contracted to the Raiders until the end of 2027.

The match was tied at 10 at halftime, but unforced errors in the second half hindered the Raiders, allowing the Dragons to secure the win and deliver the Raiders their fourth loss of the season.
Despite this setback, the Raiders maintain their position at the top of the ladder, bolstered by the Bulldogs' loss over the weekend, which keeps them a game clear with a bye still upcoming.
