Changes confirmed for Anzac weekend: NRL referees, Round 8
Kennedy and Gee won't referee this weekend, Sharpe and Raymond receive games; Badger and Gee in bunker.

The NRL have confirmed both Liam Kennedy and Adam Gee will not referee on-field this weekend, while Belinda Sharpe and Wyatt Raymond will both receive games.
Kennedy was in charge of Monday afternoon's game between the Wests Tigers and Parramatta Eels, while Adam Gee officiated the Gold Coast Titans and Canberra Raiders clash on Sunday.
Elsewhere, Adam Gee and Kasey Badger will both double up in the bunker with Chris Butler continuing to be overlooked for an appointment, while Raymond, who is needed in Auckland on Friday, will also not have a game in front of the video screens this weekend.

Grant's quick recovery sprints towards Origin clash

Melbourne Storm fans received positive news regarding captain Harry Grant's injury, with hopes that he will be back on the field by round 10.
According to au.news.yahoo.com, there were concerns that Grant would miss the State of Origin opener on May 28 due to a hamstring injury that kept him out of a recent game against the Dolphins.
Storm's general manager, Frank Ponissi, confirmed that Grant will miss the next two games against the Rabbitohs and the Raiders, but the team is optimistic about his return for the game against the Wests Tigers.
Ponissi stated, "He'll be touch and go for that one.

Brisbane Broncos prop Payne Haas and Canberra Raiders second-rower Hudson Young have surged up Zero Tackle's NRL MVP rankings after Round 7 on the back of excellent performances, but it continues to be Terrell May sitting atop the standings.
May managed just three votes out of the Tigers' loss to the Parramatta Eels on Easter Monday, but continues to cling onto the lead - this time by eight votes - ahead of South Sydney fullback Jye Gray, who failed to score in the Rabbitohs' 32-0 loss to the Canterbury Bulldogs.
They have both jumped James Tedesco, who falls to fifth spot in the rankings...
