    In a positive sign, Canberra Raiders star Corey Harawira-Naera is out of hospital and will travel back to the capital today.

    Harawira-Naera was discharged from Westmead Hospital about 3.30am after he was taken there following his seizure during the Raiders' 33-26 victory over the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

    The Kiwi international collapsed in the 66th minute following a powerful run, but there were suggestions it was the run before that that may have been the problem.

    Raiders forward Corey Harawira-Naera has provided an update on his health after Saturday evening's awful scare at Accor Stadium.

    With 14 minutes remaining in the Round 13 clash against the Rabbitohs in Sydney, Harawira-Naera collapsed causing play to be halted for over ten minutes. The players sprung into action to form a shield around the footballer to give him some privacy as medical experts rushed onto the field.

    The 28-year-old was taken to hospital in an ambulance, with a Raiders staffer accompanying him. It was later confirmed Harawira-Naera had suffered a seizure.

    Canberra's 33-26 defeat of South Sydney has been overshadowed by a worrying medical incident involving Raiders forward Corey Harawira-Naera, who collapsed on the ground mid-game and began experiencing a seizure.

    Harawira-Naera, who had been limping in backplay, appeared disoriented as he returned to position for a line-dropout and then collapsed on the ground in the 65th minute.

    The 28-year-old began convulsing as medical staff rushed to attend to him.
