We love the mighty Canberra Raiders
It'll mean he loses him, but former Canberra Raiders captain Terry Campese thinks his fullback Mathew Parsons should be playing NRL reserve grade.
Queanbeyan Blues custodian Parsons scored a Canberra Raiders Cup hat-trick in a 26-16 win over the Woden Valley Rams at Seiffert Oval on Saturday.
"He's a little weapon, isn't he? He is always around the ball. He shouldn't be playing down here, he should be in Queensland Cup or NSW Cup," Blues player-coach Campese said of Parsons.
Sam Williams was a crowd favourite: small in stature, but with a heart the size of Phar Lap. He put his body on the line time and time again. He was also incredibly articulate and a dedicated player.
Sam played 107 NRL games – 103 with the Raiders and four with the Dragons. He also played 40 games in the UK Super League, but he will be forever associated with the Green Machine.

I'd almost be happy with a TV and a heater at my outdoor seat in the media area of Canberra Stadium.
After 12 years' listening to all the talk about a new stadium in the capital, I'm almost resigned to that being the best we can hope for.
ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr's sudden backflip on a Civic Stadium has a lot of Canberrans scratching their heads.
