"Hopefully next year it's us. I'm getting jealous," Savage joked when asked his thoughts about rugby league's takeover of Las Vegas.
In a showdown at Kirkham Oval this Saturday, the Canberra Raiders' three junior rep sides will hit the field, all vying for a crucial victory in round five.
According to reports from raiders.com.au, the Raiders will be riding high on the back of their 16-10 triumph over the Cronulla Sharks a fortnight ago, a result that injected them with a much-needed dose of confidence.
On the other hand, the Wests Tigers will be looking to build on their own maiden win of the season, where they triumphed over North Sydney with a Tiana-Lee Thorne double securing the victory.
With the competition ladder tightly contested, both teams will be raring to go for their second consecutive win, ready to give it their all on the field.
