The Raiders have confirmed Corey Harawira-Naera will return to the field in 2024 after the forward had a seizure during a game in Round 13.

Harawira-Naera didn't take the field again in 2023, but the Raiders shared a positive update writing "we can't wait to see this guy back in 2024!" on X.

Against the Rabbitohs, the edge forward had a medical episode and was taken from the field via medi-cab before he was rushed to hospital.

Raiders coach Ricky Stuart said it was a "scary incident" at the time with a number of small head knocks deemed to be a contributing factor in the seizure.

Maguire, who's also the New Zealand Kiwis coach, has put talks with the NSWRL on hold until after the Pacific Championships to ensure his sole focus was on the Test series against Australia and Samoa.

In a heated response to recent claims, the Melbourne Storm has vehemently denied rumors that they are attempting to offload their star fullback, Ryan Papenhuyzen.

The 2020 Clive Churchill Medal winner has faced a challenging season, with injuries restricting him to a mere three matches.

After a lengthy 13-month absence from NRL action caused by a shattered kneecap suffered in a tackle against Jack Wighton of the Canberra Raiders in 2022, Papenhuyzen made a triumphant return to the field.

Unfortunately, his fairytale comeback was abruptly cut short during the first week of the finals when he fractured his ankle in a match against the Brisbane Broncos.
