Knights rocked by yet another major injury

Dylan Lucas joins Kalyn Ponga on the Knights' injury list, complicating a challenging season for the team.

    Zero Tackle

The Newcastle Knights are set to add a second player to their season-ending injury list, with Dylan Lucas suffering a lisfranc injury.

The injury was sustained on Saturday afternoon as the Knights came up short again against the Melbourne Storm, adding to their woes in what has been a horrific season for Adam O'Brien's side.

Roosters head coach Trent Robinson said the sin bin was a 'heavy price' to pay.

Five other charges were handed out from Saturday's fixtures, though, including three from the Roosters' win over the Dragons.

Galvin joined the Bulldogs just over a month ago, and while the club's form has been on the downward trend since then, a hard-fought win over the Cowboys on the road will give the side some confidence.

He said that was down to what he had seen the week before in a game between the Cowboys and Storm at the same venue, and while he admitted he was worried it was the wrong call when Matt Burton had to leave the field in...
