In a major signing for the Wests Tigers, former Gold Coast Titans and Canberra Raiders halfback, Aidan Sezer, has officially joined the team for the 2024 NRL season.
The exciting news was reported by weststigers.com.au, leaving fans thrilled about Sezer's return to the NRL.
Currently playing for the Leeds Rhinos in the UK Super League, the 32-year-old will be back in action in Australia after four seasons overseas.
Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has leapt to the defence of repeat offender Jordan Rapana who was man-of-the-match on Sunday but will face a nervous wait following another two ugly incidents.
The 34-year-old was lucky to escape the sin bin for sliding in with knees to try and stop a Bulldogs try and also used his knees later in the game while tackling Viliame Kikau.
Rapana copped a $3000 for a similar offence against the Storm last week, but Stuart isn't worried his fullback will be banned for a crunch clash against the Broncos next week.
