NRL ladder and 2023 finals predictor: Horror news for Canberra and Parramatta

With just three rounds remaining in the NRL regular season, there are still 12 teams who can 'mathematically' make the finals. We've looked into the crystal ball to predict who will make it and who will miss out, and it looks like bad news for the Raiders and Eels.

It's hard to see the Panthers losing another game, with, Titans (away), Eels (home) and Cowboys (H) on the schedule. Even if they finish on the same points as the Broncos (they're currently both on 38), the Panthers will have a far superior for-and-against.

Canberra Raiders Captain Jarrod Croker has announced that he will retire from the NRL at the end of the 2023 season.

Croker, who has played for the Raiders for 15 seasons and participated in over 300 matches, informed his teammates of his decision last week.

The 2009 debutant made a significant impact throughout his career, achieving various club and NRL milestones.

In a recent report by raiders.com.au, it has been revealed that Jordan Rapana and Matt Timoko from the Canberra Raiders rugby league team have been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following their loss to the Melbourne Storm.

Rapana has been charged with a grade one dangerous contact (tripping) charge on Reimis Smith during the 33rd minute of the match.

If he chooses to plead guilty early, he will be fined $3,000.
