There might need to be a box of Kleenex nearby when Corey Horsburgh gets his State of Origin call-up, but then he'll be ready to get to work for Queensland.

The Canberra Raiders forward is set to make his long-awaited Origin debut in game three in Sydney on July 12, after an injury to Thomas Flegler put him in the box seat for Maroons selection.

After getting a taste of the Origin arena with his inclusion in the Game II Queensland squad as 19th man, Horsburgh is chomping at the bit to get on the field, and make his family proud.

The Blues were forced to withdraw from the reserve grade competition this year because of a lack of players, with competition officials granting them an exemption to play in the top grade.

This charge comes in the aftermath of the team's triumph over the Titans.

Guler's offense has been classified as a grade one crusher tackle, which occurred in the 22nd minute of the game.
