    It was the definition of a tough day at the office for the Canberra Raiders as the club suffered the equal-biggest defeat in NRLW history on Saturday afternoon.

    It wasn't the only record set at Canberra Stadium in the 56-6 drubbing.

    Sharks rookie Steph Faulkner became the first NRLW prop to score a double on debut, Emma Verran's four tries made her the first NRLW player from Cronulla to score a hat-trick (or more), and Georgia Hannaway's eight conversions equalled the record for most goals in a match.

    The Raiders had a chance to redeem themselves after a Sharks error allowed them to enter the attacking zone, but they failed to penetrate the Sharks' robust defense.

    The Canberra Raiders NRLW team are one round in and already making a name for themselves as a big-hitting squad. Now with the help of a club legend, they're keen to take things up a notch.

    Josh Miller was infamous for being one of the Raiders' most fearless, physical players.

    Since retiring from rugby league in 2012 he got into Brazilian jiu-jitsu, then became a gym owner, and now as a contact coach with the NRL squad he has been called upon to use his expertise with the Raiders NRLW players too.
