NRL star Josh Mansour was approached by the NSW government to run in the upcoming state election against Labor leader Chris Minns.
The former Panthers and Rabbitohs player,
who is without a contract for 2023 but still looking to find a home
, was approached by the NSW Liberal Party.
He was asked to run in the seat of Kogarah, which is Labor’s most marginal seat on just 0.1 per cent after a redistribution, where he would’ve tried to unseat the opposition leader.
