The 2023 Les McIntyre Medal in the Canberra Raiders Cup has been awarded to Queanbeyan Kangaroos captain coach, Sam Williams.
This prestigious accolade recognizes him as the best and fairest player in the competition.
Williams, a former Canberra Raider, triumphed over Belconnen United Sharks half, Matthew Woolnough, to secure the medal in his debut full season in the Canberra Raiders Cup.
The competition also saw former Raider and Goulburn halfback, Mitch Cornish, and Woden Valley Rams hooker, Mitchel Souter, reach the finals, making for an exciting end to the regular season.
