And the shocking death of Paul Green during his enforced sabbatical taught the Raiders coach a valuable life lesson.

“There’s not enough care in this world,” Stuart told the Herald on Tuesday. “The one thing I learned out of all this is how fortunate I am to have the circle of friends and family I have - I couldn’t ask for a better circle of mates. You quickly learn who they are when you face adversity.”
