In a disappointing turn of events, raiders.com.au is lamenting the Canberra Raiders' 48-24 loss to the West Tigers on Sunday afternoon at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

The game kicked off with an intense back and forth, reminiscent of a heavyweight boxing match, before the Tigers managed to break away and secure the first points of the match.

Tigers centre Brent Naden made a daring interception in the Raiders' attacking half, only to be hunted down by Raiders winger Xavier Savage in a thrilling chase.

But the Tigers were not to be denied, as five-eighth Lachlan Galvin scored a crucial try to give his team a 6-0 lead.
