NRL boss Peter V'landys assures the Raiders that salary cap won't be manipulated, impacting Hudson Young's potential move to the PNG Chiefs.
Peter V'landys' words will be music to the Canberra Raiders' ears.
The NRL boss told The Canberra Times the salary cap would not be manipulated, especially by the PNG Chiefs' tax-free dollars.
It means if Raiders star Hudson Young does opt to join the Chiefs, they won't get him for "unders".
While V'landys said the NRL would always be open to players making submissions to change their market value, he said no approach had yet been made by Young's camp.
