‘Unstoppable’ Kangaroos clinch 12th World Cup title with ‘powerful’ win over Samoa

Australia have dominated Samoa to secure their third World Cup victory in a row, beating Matt Parish’s side 30-10 at Old Trafford.

The Kangaroos have now won the Rugby League World Cup 12 times, coming away with the trophy in 9 of the last 10 tournaments dating back to 1975.

Gun centre Latrell Mitchell scored Australia’s first, charging onto a Nathan Cleary short ball and bumping young gun Joseph Suaalii off.
