Ricky Stuart says the Canberra Raiders have earned the right to host their final when they want next weekend.
The Raiders coach, who wrapped up the NRL minor premiership with one round to spare, said the fact they could be forced to have a short turnaround for their qualifying final against the Brisbane Broncos played a part in him resting 11 players for Sunday's Dolphins clash at Redcliffe.
Brisbane's victory over Melbourne on Thursday night has locked in the top four, meaning the Green Machine will begin their finals campaign against them at Canberra Stadium.
