In a decision that will shock many Wests Tigers fans, head coach Benji Marshall is set to reinstate Doueihi, following his dramatic decision to stand down from playing against the Raiders last weekend.
Doueihi's decision has polarised the entire NRL, leading to the 29-year-old holding a meeting with Marshall on Monday before fronting the playing group at the club's Concord training base on Tuesday.
The playing group have backed Marshall's call to reinstate Doueihi after he spoke passionately to them about the reasons behind his call to stand down.
Doueihi is set to partner Jarome Luai in the halves to tackle the Eels at CommBank Stadium on Sunday.
