She would have understood better than most what the NSW team was going through when she entered the Blues sheds at the MCG after their State of Origin loss on Wednesday night when

TV cameras captured her consoling boyfriend Nathan Cleary.

"Honestly, just support. I'm proud of him no matter what he does out there on the field, and as most people know, but me in particular playing professional sport as well, losses come with the game," Fowler said.

The Matildas and Manchester City star was in Sydney on Monday for a training session as part of a promotional visit with junior girls at the Southern District Raiders.
