Raiders players were “blowing up about something” after Harry Grant scored in the second half and that “something” can now be revealed as a whistle that didn’t come from the referee.
Half way through the second half in Sunday’s clash, Grant scored from dummy half to put the Storm in the lead. As Grant picked up the ball a whistle can be heard and Raiders fullback Xavier Savage reacted to the noise, turning away from the play and towards referee Ashley Klein.
