Gold Coast Titans overcame a 20-0 deficit to defeat Newcastle Knights 24-20, snapping a losing streak.
The Gold Coast Titans staged an incredible comeback to defeat the Newcastle Knights 24-20 at McDonald Jones Stadium, breaking a five-game losing streak.
Initially, the Knights dominated, racing to a 20-0 lead within the first 27 minutes, largely due to having 65% possession and benefitting from a 5-1 penalty count alongside 3-0 ruck infringements against the Titans.
However, a late try from Phil Sami before halftime shifted momentum in favor of the Titans, setting the stage for a strong second half.
