Canterbury Bulldogs sign rising star Sylas Simon from Canberra Raiders, aiming for future Top 30 inclusion.
The Canterbury Bulldogs have landed the signing of rising Canberra Raiders star Sylas Simon.
A talented outside back and fullback, Simon has been progressing through the ranks at the Raiders in recent seasons and has been earmarked for big things in the future.
Able to play fullback or on the wing, some talent scounts have compared him to Reece Walsh, and while he is yet to debut in senior footy, he has impressed at every junior level he played at, and worked his way through the Jersey Flegg competition this year.
Wide World of Sports are reporting he has signed a development deal with the blue and white for next year, and it's understood he has the opportunity to work his way into the Top 30 during the following seasons for the blue and white.
