Ethan King, 23, pursued his NRL dream, recently playing for North Queensland after growing up in Weipa.
From the top of The Cape down to Sydney and back again, Ethan King has traveled further than most in pursuit of his NRL dream.
The 23-year-old fullback featured in his fourth first grade game on Sunday when he played in the final 15 minutes of North Queensland's 26-12 loss to Canberra.
Raised in the Far North Queensland mining town of Weipa, King played his junior rugby league for the local club known as the Central Cape Suns, before finishing his schooling at Ipswich Grammar.
"I went to boarding school and would come home to Weipa on the holidays," he said.
"I played school rugby union and played local footy in the Ipswich comp."
