    Tuggeranong Bushrangers win 16-14 over Queanbeyan Kangaroos in hard-fought Grand Final rematch.

    The Tuggeranong Bushrangers claimed a 16-14 victory over the Queanbeyan Kangaroos on Saturday afternoon at Greenway Oval.

    In a hard-fought Grand Final rematch, the nail-biting finish brought Queanbeyan's winning streak to an end.

    The match began with a slow and steady start, as both teams struggled to get past each other's defensive sides.

    The first half was a back-and-forth contest riddled with errors from both sides. Kangaroos hooker Lachlan Ingram was the first to make a break, but the try was not awarded due to an unforced error.

    Returning to the Blumers Lawyers George Tooke Shield in 2024, questions swirled around whether the Binalong Brahmans could compete in what is fast becoming a very strong country rugby league competition.

    Under the inspiring leadership of Chris Rawlinson, the Binalong Brahmans aren't just competing. They are defying all odds, remaining unbeaten and top-of-the-table after four rounds.

    They opened their account with a stunning 16-8 away win over 2023 Grand Finalist Crookwell before registering a 46-4 victory over North Canberra at home.

    In their most significant result to date, the Brahmans defeated competition favourites Bungendore 24-22 at home.
