    Rolling Raiders roll through Wests Tigers to claim their first victory

    Rolling Raiders win 56-22 in NSW Wheelchair Rugby League against weak Wests Tigers.

    The Rolling Raiders have recorded their first victory in the NSW Cup Wheelchair Rugby League competition, rolling away with a comprehensive 56-22 victory in front of a large home crowd at Wagga PCYC on Saturday.

    It was a tightly fought contest early before the Rolling Raiders pulled away late against a weakened Wests Tigers outfit, led by Australian Wheelaroos captain Brad Grove.

    The Raiders opened the scoring through a Brad Burns breakaway try before the Tigers replied through Brad Grove who converted his own try to lock the scores up at 6-all.

    The Tigers then hit the lead through some classy ball movement which saw Stephen Rochecouste score.

    Draws highlight a big weekend of GTS action

    Thrilling Round Six with two draws; Hardens Hawkettes shocked by 16-all result against She Devils.

    Close contests highlighted a thrilling Round Six of Blumers Lawyers George Tooke Shield league tag action.

    There was not one, but two draws, with four of the competition heavyweights forced to share points.

    In the most significant result of the round, the all-conquering Hardens Hawkettes were held to a 16-all draw by the Crookwell She Devils.

    Playing at McLean Oval, the She Devils nearly caused the upset of the season, and with both sides scoring three tries a piece, they couldn't be separated when the final siren rang out.

    Another scintillating result was played out just down the road from Harden at Cootamundra, with the Bullettes and Binalong Brahmans drawing 18-all.
