    NSWRL Country and City squads announced for 2024

    NSWRL announces players for NSW Country and NSW City in upcoming representative fixtures. 9 games scheduled.

    The NSWRL is pleased to announce the following players have been chosen to represent NSW Country and NSW City in the representative fixtures to be played on the weekend of 18-19 May.

    Nine games will be played across two days at two venues, the iconic Leichhardt Oval and the Whitlam Leisure Centre, with NSWRL TV to showcase all the action.

    The full schedule includes NSW Country v NSW City games for CABE Under 16s Boys, CABE Under 18s Boys, CABE Men's Open Age and CABE Wheelchair Rugby League on Saturday 18 May; and CABE Physical Disability Rugby League, Westpac Under 17s Girls and Westpac Under 19s Women on Sunday 19 May.     George Tooke Shield Rep Squads Announced

    George Tooke Shield reps face Woodbridge Cup reps in Cowra on Saturday afternoon.

    The George Tooke Shield have named their representative Open Men's and League Tag squads to take on the Woodbridge Cup rep sides this weekend.

    The annual representative fixture alternates venue each year, with both games scheduled at Sid Kallas Oval, Cowra this Saturday afternoon (11th May).

    Hall wants Hawks to keep the ‘foot down’

    Harden Hawks bounce back with 32-12 victory after slow Blumers Lawyers George Tooke Shield start.

    Following a slow start to their Blumers Lawyers George Tooke Shield campaign, the Harden Hawks have spread their wings during a 32-12 victory over the North Canberra Bears at McLean Oval on Saturday.

    Entering the Round Four contest, the Hawks had been well-beaten 50-nil by the Bungendore Tigers in Round One and went down 18-14 in a close contest to the Cootamundra Bulldogs in Round Three.

    Splitting those games was a forfeit by the UC Stars in Round Two, meaning Harden hadn't enjoyed the opportunity to sing their team song in 2024.

    That changed on Saturday, though, as the predicted competition heavyweights put six tries past the Bears.
