    Intensity in the Blumers Lawyers Katrina Fanning Shield is rising as a tight ladder begins to form after four rounds of exciting Rugby League. 

    Goulburn City Bulldogs 16 defeat Tuggeranong Bushrangers 12

    Following a slow start to the season, Goulburn have joined the winners circle after a tight battle against the Bushrangers at Workers Arena on Saturday. 

    The Bulldogs were determined to secure competition points following disappointing performances in the first two rounds where they suffered big losses to Yass and Woden. 

    Olivia Howe in the dummy half role was the standout for Goulburn as she crossed for a double in a game where every point mattered.

    Blumers Lawyers Canberra Raiders Cup had four thrilling games resulting in Queanbeyan Kangaroos victory.

    The Blumers Lawyers Canberra Raiders Cup was back again with four thrilling games of Rugby League.

    All sides looked to secure competition points to progress their season and position on the ladder.

    Queanbeyan Kangaroos 28 defeated Woden Rams 18

    The Queanbeyan Kangaroos came away with a 28-18 victory over the weekend against the Woden Valley Rams at Seears Workwear Oval. 

    With a 10 point victory, it was evident that Queanbeyan were itching to get onto the field after resting with the bye in round three.

    The Kangaroos are yet to record a loss this season and look to continue this form following a strong start to the year.

    Westies impress in their first home game

    West Belconnen Warriors defeat Gungahlin Bulls 38-18 at Raiders Belconnen with impressive attack and defense.

    The West Belconnen Warriors impressed at home with a demolishing 38-18 defeat against the Gungahlin Bulls at Raiders Belconnen. 

    Although both sides came into this game with momentum after securing wins last week, it was the home side that were able to consistently capitalise on their scoring opportunities with some slick attack. 

    The opening 10 minutes of play was a set for set battle with both sides not giving an inch in defence. 

    It wasn't until Warriors five-eighth Caleb Edwards took matters into his own hands to open up the scoring, putting a grubber through for himself and planting the ball over the line.
