    The 2024 Blumers Lawyers Canberra Raiders Cup is set to continue in style this week, with four exciting match ups following a thrilling opening round. 

    Woden Valley Rams vs Goulburn City Bulldogs, 3:00pm Sunday at Phillip Oval

    This weeks match of the round features an exciting Sunday clash between the Woden Valley Rams and the Goulburn City Bulldogs visiting Phillip Oval.

    After a disappointing season in 2023 which saw the Rams unable to qualify for finals, they will be riding high on confidence after claiming a demanding 30-6 victory against last years grand finalists, the Tuggeranong Bushrangers, last weekend.

    Brahmans out to buck visiting Bears

    Binalong Brahmans won against Crookwell Green Devils in a tough match at Memorial Oval.

    The Binalong Brahmans returned triumphantly to the Blumers Lawyers George Tooke Shield on Saturday.

    Taking on the strong Crookwell Green Devils, who won the competition in 2022 before losing to Boorowa in last year's Grand Final, the Brahmans were readying themselves for a tough outing at Crookwell's Memorial Oval.

    In a physical match that could have gone either way, Binalong prevailed 16-8, potentially paving the way for a massive season for the returning side.

    "We worked pretty hard during the preseason and had a lot of good numbers come down, which is good for a club getting back into the competition," said Binalong captain/coach Chris Rawlinson.
