    The Woden Valley Rams face Yass Magpies in a crucial Minor Semi Final this Sunday.

    The Woden Valley Rams and Yass Magpies battle it out, in a do or die Minor Semi Final this Sunday afternoon at Raiders Belconnen. 

    Sitting inside the top two for majority of the 2025 season, a loss to the Belconnen United Sharks last weekend sees the Rams finish the regular season in third position. 

    In the 22 - 4 defeat last weekend, the Rams struggled with their completion rate, with their dummy half Indi Dyball stating this is a clear focus heading into this weekend.

    The Canberra Region Rugby League honored 2025 award winners at the Les McIntyre Medal Presentation Night.

    The Canberra Region Rugby League celebrated the 2025 seniors' season on Wednesday evening, coming together for the annual Les McIntyre Medal Presentation Night. 

    Tuggeranong Bushranger lock forward Darby Medlyn was presented the 2025 Les McIntyre Medal, crowned the best and fairest of the Canberra Raiders Cup First Grade competition. 

    Lara Cosgrove of the Woden Valley Rams earned the 2025 Maree Bush Medal, recognised as the best and fairest of the Katrina Fanning Shield.

    West Belconnen Warriors and Belconnen United Sharks compete for Katrina Fanning Shield Grand Final spot.

    The West Belconnen Warriors and Belconnen United Sharks face off on Saturday afternoon at Seears Workwear Oval, as they look to be the first team to punch their ticket into the Katrina Fanning Shield Grand Final. 

    The West Belconnen Warriors enter the major semi-final as minor premiers, after going through the regular season suffering one defeat, with outside back Gabby Savage saying it's been an enjoyable season to date. 

    "This year being one of the youngest in the team, I've enjoyed the season. Coming into the finals knowing that, we have the big bodies to do the job, so it's just now for this final's series, to put it on and show everyone," Savage said.
