    Canberra Raiders Cup: Minor Semi Final Preview

    West Belconnen Warriors face Tuggeranong Bushrangers in crucial elimination final after disappointing draw.

    The West Belconnen Warriors welcome the Tuggeranong Bushrangers to Raiders Belconnen on Sunday afternoon in a must win elimination final. 

    The West Belconnen Warriors enter this weekend's matchup after a twenty-all draw against the Gungahlin Bulls, with Captain Coach Ryan McQueen particularly critical of the performance.  

    "It was probably one of our worst of the year to be honest, story of our season at the moment," McQueen said. 

    "We just seemed to hurt ourselves and put ourselves under immense pressure and going into the finals we can't be doing that; it's not the way we wanted to go into the finals but also probably good to get that one out of the way."

    Canberra Raiders Cup: Major Semi Final Preview

    Kangaroos face Blues in Queanbeyan Derby for finals, aiming for grand final spot.

    The Queanbeyan Derby takes centre stage on Saturday afternoon at Seears Workwear Oval, as the Kangaroos and Blues face off in the Major Semi Final for the second consecutive year, with both sides desperate for the week off and first grand final spot. 

    The Queanbeyan Kangaroos enter finals action in a familiar position; after securing their third straight minor premiership, with this being something Captain Coach Sam Williams acknowledges as a good reward for their efforts this year.
