    CRRL Opens won the inaugural Blues Tag Carnival; Group 16 North claimed the Under 16s title.

    The CRRL Opens claimed victory in the Inaugural Blues Tag Carnival, whilst Group 16 North secured the Under 16s title.

    The CRRL opens side claimed victory against tough opposition on Saturday against Group Nine and Group Seven. 

    The side went through undefeated, claiming three wins from as many games, with the highlight being an impressive 38-0 victory in the Grand Final against Group Nine.

    The Canberra Region Rugby League Open's and Under 16s League Tag sides prepare for the inaugural Blues Tag carnival which will take place over the June long weekend.

    In an event tailored to creating a representative pathway for League Tag players, the CRRL will take on various Southern NSW Rugby League competitions, highlighting the growth and development of the non-contact variant of Rugby League.

    The CRRL Open side will face Group Seven and Nine, whilst the Under 16s will have matches against Group Nine, Group 16 North and Group 16 South.
