    Canberra Duo to Play for NSW Universities

    Canberra players selected for NSW Uni team; will play Queensland on October 19 at Cbus Stadium.

    Two players from the Canberra region have been selected for the New South Wales Universities team in their annual clash with Queensland Universities.

    The team will travel to the Gold Coast to face Queensland at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday, October 19, with the match kicking off at 3:30pm.

    Physiotherapy student and University of Canberra (UC) Stars Captain/Coach Adam Booth will play on the wing for the 'Student Blues' and says he is honoured to represent his university at the state level.

    The Canberra Region Rugby League (CRRL) league tag squad will head to the Central Coast for tomorrow's (October 12) NSWRL Opens Blues Tag representative Gala Day.

    Teams from five regions across the state will compete in a round-robin tournament at the Central Coast Regional Sporting and Recreation Complex, culminating in elimination finals to crown the day's winner.

    The CRRL squad, featuring players from the Canberra Raiders Cup and George Tooke Shield, will face off against representative teams from Central Coast, Cronulla, Newcastle, and Woodbridge.
