George Williams returns to Australia for England's World Cup opener against Tonga, joining the Dolphins after leaving Canberra.
English captain George Williams is preparing to play his first game in Australia since leaving Canberra in dramatic fashion midway through the 2021 season.
Williams not only has the weight of the nation on his shoulders, but also an entire fanbase after he inked a two-year deal to partner Isaiya Katoa and help a star-studded Dolphins side.
But first the pair will go head-to-head as England take on Tonga in Perth on Saturday to kickstart their World Cup campaign.
DOLPHINS COMEBACK
The Dolphins have long pursued Williams and were hopeful to get him out of his Warrington contract a year early.
