Roosters coach Trent Robinson has leapt to James Tedesco's defence after the champion fullback was twice beaten in aerial contests, and left to rue damage on the scoreboard on both occasions, as the Tricolours slumped to a 20-18 loss to the Raiders on Sunday night.
Jack Wighton and Sebastian Kris both soared above Tedesco to set up tries as the Raiders shot out to an 18-0 lead in the first 30 minutes of the Sydney Football Stadium clash.
