Four Canberra Raiders players, including Simi Sasagi, will undergo surgery this off-season but are expected to return for pre-season trials.
Simi Sasagi's already had his done, but there's another four Canberra Raiders set to have surgery this off-season.
Thankfully, they're all expected to return in time for the Raiders' pre-season trials.
It's one of the few positives to come out of the Green Machine's disappointing 2026 NRL season - having missed out on finals its players are now able to get surgeries done earlier and can be back from their rehabilitation sooner.
In addition to Sasagi, Savelio Tamale, Matt Timoko, Kaeo Weekes and Joe Tapine will also need surgery in the coming weeks.
