Manly could be set for a huge boost with Tom Trbojevic targeting a return from his shoulder injury in week two of the finals in a bid to push his case for World Cup selection.
Trbojevic was ruled out for the season after suffering a shoulder injury against the Eels earlier this season, but he is ahead of schedule in his rehab and wants to play for Manly and the Kangaroos at the end of the year.
“Very big news for Manly, I spoke to Tom Trbojevic and he confirmed that he is on schedule for an early return to rugby league,” Ritchie said on NRL Tonight.
