Central Queensland Capras forward Tane Kiriona has earned himself another shot at the NRL, with the Melbourne Storm securing him after a breakout season in the Queensland Cup.

The 22-year-old has signed a one-year contract with the Storm and will start pre-season with Melbourne on November 3 after being rewarded for an impressive campaign with the Capras.

Kiriona was named the club's best forward for the season, his stats reflecting this as he averaged 120 run metres per game, while making 76 tackle breaks and completing 652 tackles at an impressive efficiency rate of 93 per cent.
