The Canberra Raiders withdrew their four-year offer to Hudson Young, who's exploring options with the PNG Chiefs.
The Canberra Raiders have sensationally withdrawn their four-year offer to star back rower Hudson Young.
After several months of negotiations, the Raiders have decided they can no longer wait without an answer ahead of the November 1 transfer window.
It has been reported that Young has been attempting to tour the PNG Chiefs.
The Chiefs have only been willing to entertain signing Young at a price of $900,000, which hasn't been ratified by the NRL due to its lesser value than the Raiders' offer which is reportedly $1.1 million per season.
The Raiders released a statement on Monday, outlining the situation.
