Raiders NSW Cup team defeats Newtown Jets 42-12 in dominant display at GIO Stadium.
The Raiders NSW Cup side showed their dominance with a convincing 42-12 win over the Newtown Jets at GIO Stadium Canberra on Sunday arvo.
In a true display of rugby league grit, the Raiders turned on the afterburners in the second half, scoring a whopping 30 points to secure their victory.
The game kicked off with a slow and steady pace, as both teams tested each other with tough sets and solid defense.
But it was halfback Mitch Henderson who lit the spark for the Raiders with a clever grubber kick that he chased down himself to score a try just 10 meters from the line.
