We love the mighty Canberra Raiders
Albert Hopoate reckons "one little stuff-up" could cost him an NRL jersey and send him hurtling back to Canberra's NSW Cup team.
But that could bring out the best in the Raiders winger as he returns to his preferred position for a clash with the Wests Tigers at Canberra Stadium on Saturday.
Hopoate started the season at centre but the return of Seb Kris sees the 23-year-old shift to the wing at the expense of Nick Cotric.
The Wests Tigers are ready to rumble in Canberra this weekend as they kick off their 2024 season with a tough match against the Raiders.
It's going to be a real clash of the titans as two debutants, Lachlan Galvin and Jayden Sullivan, step up to the plate in the halves.
With former Raiders star Aidan Sezer waiting in the wings on the bench, it's shaping up to be a real nail-biter of a game.
With players like Sezer, Sullivan, and Fainu getting their first taste of NRL action, the pressure is on for the Tigers to perform under the bright lights.
The clash against the Raiders this Sunday is make or break for the NZ Warriors' SG Ball campaign, a match that could either propel them into the top six or leave them languishing in seventh place.
The stakes are high as both teams are neck and neck on six points, with the Warriors just narrowly missing out on a top position based on points for and against.
Canberra will be entering the battlefield with confidence after a resounding 44-4 victory over Penrith, while the Warriors will be looking to redeem themselves after a close 24-32 loss to Illawarra.
With co-captain Kayliss Fatialofa back in the lineup and a new face at standoff in Tallan Egan, the Warriors are ready to take on the challenge head-on.
