NRLW finalists reveal the key changes to find success
The Raiders and Roosters, with contrasting strategies, meet in a preliminary final after successful NRLW seasons influenced by their coaching changes.

When Canberra and Sydney Roosters were both entrenched in their NRLW pre-seasons, their respective coaching teams decided to shake things up.
The Raiders held emotional 'vulnerability sessions' in which each player spoke about their background and journey to rugby league, while the Roosters overhauled their on-field winning formula.
The pair's strategies may have been vastly different, but they've both played an integral role in helping spur their respective successful seasons.
Now the two side's will demonstrate just how much of an impact those changes have made when they face off in their preliminary final on Saturday at Allianz Stadium.

The phrase don't judge a book by its cover never rang more true than when talking about the Canberra Raiders hooking duo of Chante Temara and Emma Barnes.
Standing at 154 centimetres and 162 centimetres tall, and 65 kilograms and 56 kilograms respectively, the dummy-half pair might be two of the smallest players in the NRLW, but that doesn't mean they aren't tough as nails.
If anything, their smaller stature has put an ever-motivating chip on their shoulders that has driven them in forging successful NRLW careers.
Now the foundation Raiders players want to repay the faith that Canberra has shown them by winning the club's first women's premiership.

Former three-club NRL forward makes call on Australian return
Former NRL forward Patrick Mago will stay in the English Super League despite NRL move rumors.

Former NRL forward Patrick Mago is set to remain in the English Super League, despite recent reports linking him to an NRL move.
The 31-year-old who was born in Auckland progressed through the Canberra Raiders junior system more than a decade ago now and played for the Junior Kangaroos in 2013.
He captained the Raiders under-20 side, and played for Queensland under-20s in the following year, before moving to the North Queensland Cowboys at the start of 2017 where he debuted in the NRL.
He had just two appearances with the Cowboys, moving to the Brisbane Broncos at the start of 2018 for another 12 games, and then to the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2020 for another 23 games.
