South Sydney Rabbitohs captain Cody Walker believes that his former teammate Adam Reynolds has the potential to surpass NRL all-time point-scoring leader Cameron Smith.

Reynolds is currently closing in on third place on the list, needing 11 points in an upcoming match to surpass Raiders' Jarrod Croker.

With his sights set on overtaking Croker and Hazem El Masri this season, Reynolds is then looking towards catching Smith.

To achieve this milestone, Reynolds may need to continue playing for another three seasons.
