    A North Queensland Cowboys outside back and a Canberra Raiders forward are both facing extended stints on the sidelines due to injuries sustained in their Round 2 matches against the Sharks and Broncos.

    Cowboys winger Braidon Burns suffered a low-grade hamstring injury, with a history of hamstring issues, and will be sidelined for three to four weeks.

    This will give recruit Jaxson Paulo the opportunity to fill in on the wing.

    The Raiders' Zac Hosking underwent surgery for a broken hand and will be out of action for four to six weeks.
