    Jarrod Croker "makes his bed before he gets out of it". It's why fellow super boot Daryl Halligan rates the Canberra Raiders co-captain in the top dozen goal-kickers of all time.

    It's a nice way of saying there's nothing about Croker's preparation that's untidy.

    And Halligan said what made Croker's record even more impressive was the fact he'd played about half of his 299 NRL games at Canberra Stadium - one of the more difficult venues to kick at because it's so exposed and at the mercy of the wind.

  • Sea Eagles' injury woes: Will they soar or sink?

    Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have reported that Brad Parker will be out for 4-6 weeks due to a fractured elbow that he suffered against the Newcastle Knights in round 13.

    This will be a significant blow to the team, as Parker has been a key player for them this season.

    Meanwhile, Jake Trbojevic is progressing well from a calf injury that he suffered in the round 12 win over the Canberra Raiders.

    He brought his super boot as well.

    But without their meeting with Raiders coach Ricky Stuart, Jarrod Croker might not be playing his 300th NRL game on Friday.
