We love the mighty Canberra Raiders
Canberra Raiders stars Zahara Temara and Sophie Holyman have retained their spot on the Queensland Maroons squad for game two of Women's State of Origin.
The squad was announced on Friday ahead of the finale to the two-game series at Townsville Stadium on June 22.
The Maroons made only one change to the 17 since game one with China Polata set to debut on the wing for Julia Robinson, who is serving a one-match suspension.
The Warriors website, warriors.kiwi, has reported that Raiders captain Jarrod Croker will be playing in his 300th NRL match on Friday.
Croker will become just the second specialist centre, after Josh Morris, to reach this milestone.
On the other hand, Warriors rookie Ali Leiataua will be making his NRL debut in the same match.
Brittney Croker has barely hung up the phone before she sends the message.
"What you see is what you get with Jarrod," Brittney wrote. "The cool, calm guy you see on the field is the same guy we get at home. Through it all he's been incredible, supportive, strong and positive."
Surprising? Hardly.
